The ship *Bounty* was built in 1960 by MGM Studios for the 1962 movie *Mutiny On the Bounty.* It traveled to St. Petersburg sometime after a promotional world tour, and was used mostly as a tourist attraction. The ship changed hands twice more before it was lost to Hurricane Sandy in 2012. (1)
