Detail View: Touchton Map Library: Soil Map of Dade County, Florida Sheet No. 10 (of 12) from the U.S. Department of Agriculture Soil Conservation Service in cooperation with the University of Florida Agricultural Experiment Station. This map sheet covers the southern central section of Dade County. The area (mostly part of Everglades National Park) has no land marks to define its boundaries, but the Royal Palm State Park can be found near the center. The map is mostly purple, but also has large sections colored pink and light blue corresponding to the type of soil present. A legend can be found on a separate sheet (2018.103.020.005).
